What do you do with words / phrases you don't understand?

Thu Dec 10, 2009 6:31 pm

Hi,

I'm currently about to subtitle some documentaries, which are Enlish. As I'm from Germany its not that easy at all. I have looked for some transcripts, but couldn't find any, so I'm doing it from scratch.

However, there are still passages, I don't understand properly, because its too fast, too noisy, etc.

What do you do with this passages? Is there a possibility to let some volunteer hear them and tell me what is said :)?

Best regards

Just ask.
Extract the passage you don't understand (with some context, make an mp3, upload it to some site (or set up your own), and ask.
