Question on .sub/.idx

i've been looking for subs for "judo saga" and all i can find is the .sub file without the .idx. is it possible to burn with just the .sub? sorry if this is a noobish question, i appreciate any help.

It depends on what type of .sub file you have. If it is a microdvd type .sub which are usually around 100kb, then you just play it with your .avi video file.

If it's the bigger .sub (around 4MB) that you find on DVD's, then I think you need the .idx to rip the subs with a program like Subrip.
