Use simplexml or xml-rpc to get subtitles?

Hi,
I am now developping a program to download subtitles from www.opensubtitles.org.I have got a User agent from opensubtitles already.
But i do not know if i should use simplexml like:
http://www.opensubtitles.org/search/sub ... /simplexml
to search subtitles or if i should use xml-rpc method to search subtitles.
Now my program can work well on these two way.
Now i have two questions:

First,using simplexml to search subtitles is allowed by opensubtitles?
second,Is only xml-rpc method allowed for developers?

hi, you can use both, but much more preferred way is xml-rpc, so use that one, and if possible, try to forget on simplexml.
