I pm my account to you, go check it
You’re right, bud! This problem is unique to a selected few, not just the admins. After I tried logging in with your details, I got the same jargon page goffini posted at the start of this topic.

After which, I tried accessing OS and just kept getting that page constantly, then I cleared my history (cookies etc…) refreshed the page and then was able to log-in to my own account and had full access as before.

I must have tried your account at least 10 times (with IE, too) in addition to another users account and just got the same thing.

The problem is you can’t access your accounts and neither can I, but if oss can access it and change your password/username, maybe that would work. If this was a forum problem I could have assigned another password/username to your account myself and checked it that way, but I don’t have the same powers on the main site.

I can confirm this problem isn’t an admin problem (since a normal user has it too) and can only deduce that the characters in your password/username might be contributing to the problem. A silly theory, but not being able to investigate it further, I can’t rule it out.

I think oss is the only one that can fix this. Obviously the problem isn’t from your end, but for the life of me, I can’t figure it out. If oss looks at what I and you see, he'll be able to fix it, but make sure you let him know as his escaping for a few months again. Sorry, dude.

Note all other users: Please don’t send me your account details, I only wanted to investigate with admin accounts. The ones that did send me their details, I confirm I see the same problem as you do. To carry on using the site and downloading, just avoid to log-in for now :D

It just means other users (normal) are experiencing the problem too. It’s not an isolated incidence for a few admins. It seems as though the database isn’t accepting certain usernames/passwords. Since oss/danger are the main system op, only they can fix it.
It would be nice if someone just shut down autoupload till we got back our access,
cause Goff has right, hundreds of subsheets to correct, this is insane.
I concur. Even though I still have access, it responds too slow to correct them all in a minimum time.
Or, this is just an idea, someone could borrow his admin account to Goff.
If it's not fixed in a day or two, he can borrow mine. Anything to stop the (inevitable) impending seizer

Update: The IMDb problem is because of the new layout of IMDb site. For more information, read the “admin homepage” topic.
Is the "Admin Homepage" available only for admins? I ask because Goffini told me to go look for it, but I've never been an admin. You may be referring to something else.

Yes, it’s only available to the admins of the site. Thus, “Admin homepage”. :D

It’s just something new, not been fully taken advantage of just yet.
