What happened to my VIP status?

Every time I try to download a subtitle thru kodi i get a message about my VIP status, I have been a VIP for at least 7-8 years, what happened?

when I log into my account I get this message:

VIP Member was disabled by os - Sun 5 Jan 00:52:53 2020 . Comment: VIP Member was added by system (VIP donation)

it says it was disabled in 2020, but it stopped working on in December 2023

I'm not complaining, I just didn't know it was valid for one year, when I set up my home theatre library system, some websites had a once in a life time donation others were annual, I donated to opensubtitles (I believe only once) years ago and it worked for 6-7 years. I'm definitely not complaining. I must not have realized that it was annual I would have set it to auto renew like everything else. Thank you for your response


So if I donate now, would I get my vip status back?
