Unsupported subtitle format for CD 1. Only srt, sub, smi, txt and ssa formats are supported

i have a srt file with english and chinese language. the file is coded by ansi. when i upload the srt , it says "Unsupported subtitle format for CD 1. Only srt, sub, smi, txt and ssa formats are supported". how can solve it? thanks
