how do I filter search results by language?

In the list of subtitle matches it shows all languages. I see the square white button at the top of language column but when I click on it and pick english I get no results. Also that choice disappears the next search and I get all languages again. I never want to see anything but english. How can I filter that list?

I am not sure if I understand you well, but if you ALWAYS want only English subtitles, you can set this as preference ("Preferred subtitle languages:") on your profile page. Just check the checkbox next to "English".

Ah. I thought seeting the site language would do it. I set it in my profile and all is well now. Sorry to bother you.
