we are proud to present "Open Subtitles" browser extension. In short - it allows download or drag and drop subtitles for any HTML5 video (youtube, netflix, hulu etc...)

Load subtitle to a HTML5 video.
Open Subtitles extension provides subtitles experience to any HTML5 video site (youtube, netflix, amazon prime, hulu and other streaming sites)

* Search - autodetection of title, download and view subtitles in videos from OpenSubtitles.com
* Drag and drop subtitles file if you want custom subtitles
* Supported subtitle formats: *.srt, *.vtt, *.ass, *.ssa
* Works on iframes (embedded videos)
* Synchronize subtitles to video
* Customize Subtitles color, background color, transparency, font size
* See transcription/text of video/subtitles, possible copy with shift+left-click
* Jump to timestamp with left click

How to use:
- Install the extension to your browser.
- We recommend to pin it to navigation bar, so you can use it easily
- Open website with video
- Click on "Open Subtitles" extension at the right top corner in your browser, it will open extension dialog
- The first video is autodetected, title is detected, search for subtitles and download them, or drop subtitle file
- Subtitles are displayed on video

I use this extension it good but need more improvements. One of question here...! How to fix opensubtitle.org error in downloading subtitles

thanks for feedback. sure it needs a bit more love we are working on this. Please send example / screenshot / debug what you exactly mean.

I tried to download extension and on both my laptop and mobile device, I get "Google 404. That's an error. The requested URL was not found on this server. That's all we know." Please advise. Thank you.

I tried to download for firefox an i get : "Oops! We can’t find that page"

yeah we should take those down...old extensions. Can you send me links where did you find it ?

oh ok, now I see. I thought it is somewhere also on www.opensubtitles.org page
