The English language TV series «The Tower» appears under the correct name on the .org site but under a Chinese name (塔楼) on the .com site.

we fixed a bug in the translation this morning, it should solve your problem.

Sorting the results by language would be nice:

Sometimes I get my hands on some releases with plenty of subs. Sometimes they are not upped to our wonderful DB, so I'd like to up any missing ones. Having the results for a movie/episode sorted by language, would make it much easier (instead of scanning 3 or more pages and possibly missing the right tiny flag anyway)!

Perhaps it would be possible to add such sorting in the (very) advanced search? Like this:

PS: I mentioned that already elsewhere, see
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=18278

D'Oh! I keep forgetting one thing to "bicker" about:

Image

Notice something?

If you say no, then tell me which movie that is  The title is missing!

It can be a nuisance if you want to up another sub but then the phone rings, the kitchen starts burning or simply you have to go to the toilet

Could that be fixed so that a title is shown or at least a tiny link to IMDB, please? Especially when working with shows, this lack of information can be very confusing...

I don't see a button to edit reviews of subtitles.

Also the interface could use larger fonts. Everything uses such small letters. And I'm using a gigantic screen.

So, let me know where the EDIT button is. That would be great!

Thanks.

Hi,

like the new site, but still some sync issues.

currently experiencing:

id 1231204 : the diplomat only has 3 dutch subtitles on .com and all of them are on .org

Could you please fix ? (since bazarr doesn't work with .org API anymore)

thank you,

edd--

Missing titles can occur, if you see some please send us links...

for this problem, you mention this show right ?
https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/ssearc ... ie-1231204
the show page on the new site is here
https://www.opensubtitles.com/en/tvshow ... e-diplomat

looking at the whole shows it's hard to see where you had the issues

the easiest for us is to get links to the subtitles themselves, such as
https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... -clause-nl

there, if you click on "download (beta)" you'll get to where the subtitle was imported on the new site. sometimes the episodes are not properly set to the show, or an episiode was imported as a movie.

I noticed that this one doesn't exist on the new site, but all other episodes work fine:
https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... rnissen-de

I think the new site is good in many ways, but I feel that the subtitle information box and file information with the release name is too far down on the subtitle detail page. It's easier to spot on the old site.

I would also like to make a feature request for a hint when a search gives no or very few results in a specific language, but there are subtitles available in other languages. I'm thinking something like "No subtitles found in the chosen language, but we have other languages available", instead of "No data available in table".

It always confuses me that some languages are not in order (see checkboxed):

At least not in the order that the written name warrants, instead it seems to by country code. I think WYSIWYG would be a better approach instead of some hidden and invisible country code.

Or add the codes in front, so one start memorizing

for this case the episode was saved as a movie.... it happens sometimes, if you notice us we can fix it (I didn't fix this one yet so you can see the issue)

new layout coming soon, better informations and search results that show you subtitles that can be translated

this one if from opensubtitles.org, opensubtitles.com got an upgraded version, and the newest layout will improve even more, finally sorting aphpabetically instead of sorting by country code

note: WYSIWYG is for text editors, it means "what you see is what you get"
