What browser for opensubtitles to work?

Sun Feb 08, 2009 2:03 pm

Hello you lucky people.
I can not seem to get opensubtitles.org to show correctly in my browsers. I have tried using Firefox 2 and 3 with and without IE tab and Internet Exlorer 7 but none of these seems to display the page correctly. I am talking about remembering my user so that I don't have to log in every time. Sorting of columns doesn't work. I am receiving advert popups and adverts in between search result although I am gold member. Is this supposed to be like this?

hello,

I test opensubtitles in firefox 2,3, opera, safari, little bit IE6, I didn't see it in IE 7. Everything should work, if not, send me screenshots.

If the user is not remembered, it is because you use subdownloader or any other program to log in, and then on website you are not remembered...I think this is issue, because here it works ok.

Sorting by columns doesnt work, because it takes a lot of resources, so I disbled it for now.
If you are receiving some ads, you are not logged in, right ?

Well I am using SubDownloader so that is why I'm being logged out. I am currently on my laptop running FireFox 3.0.6 and I am not seeing any adds. I am 99% sure that I still receive adds at home on my workstation even though I am logged in. I will create a screenshot for you. Sorry for the the time it took to respond. Thought I was notified by email when my post got a respond :-)

I think there should be no DIFFERENCE, when you are using firefox, opera, or IE, it should (I mean logging) working everywhere same. There are some issues, when you are switching between browsers and programs, thats right.
