What do you think about having an option to play the video with subtitle, from the GUI?. A button or option from the rightclick menu that, when clicked, opens the video in the windows default player ( or specified player path in settings )

It is not difficult to add an option to the right click menu to open the video in the default player, but the selection of the subtitle in that player can not be influenced..

I like the search "Auto Search" option.. is there a way to also "Auto Download" ? ?

Was about to try this out, but will ask before running this app.

I am using subber version 1.17.1 I have added opensubtitles login in preference and it shows green.I have opensubtitle checked below search box.
When I click on search nothing when i do an ALT+S still nothing how can search for a subtitle through the app?

Hi, I live in a village in Ivory Coast.
I installed Subber, and opened its window.
But I cannot select Download: it's not available.
And if I select Subtitles, a new little window opens which allows me only to UPLOAD to OpenSubtitles, not to download.
Can you help me?

I'm 72, have some little problems with computers...
I suppose, must catch before dropping... But, how to catch? In opensubtitles, I can choose subtitles: but how to catch them and drop in subber?

Subber searches for subtitles about specific Video files (films, TV series etc.)
You have to catch the video file that you want subtitles for, and drop it at the empty window of Subber.
If you're not familiar with drag and drop, you can use the menu: Select "File" and then "Open files" to select your video files.
If all your video files are in a single folder, you can select "File' and then "Open folder".
After that, the "Search" button gets activated (because now, there is something to search for), and you can press it..

But I'm searching for french subtitles.
I opened Preferences, then select French language and deselect English language.
But Subber is always downloading english subtitles (and english subtitles only).

Subber will download a subtitle only if it is marked as French on the site.
If the contents are still English, its probably wrongly marked there, and there is nothing more you can do..

I tried to download:
The.Big.Heat.1953.1080p.BluRay.H264.AAC
from opensubtitles.org

I downloaded it two years ago, but my old computer was stolen.
I Know well that these subtitles are french.
In Subber, I selected Opensubtitles and deselected Podnapisi; but Subber insists downloading Podnapisi and not Opensubtitles.
