Hi,

I am watching Star Trek: Voyager season 1 via Kodi and so far no subtitles is matching the season 1 yet with exception of 'Caretaker e01 and e02' if there is a match it claims to be English and even the wording withing the subtitles shows as en,srt stills comes out foreign not english so therefore it not an english subtitles.

Yet searching online via OpenSubtitles show several english version but not showing up in the listing for Kodi, any ideas why this is? I am now having to download them and problem with this downloading takes time vs watching them on the go.

OK searching online and selecting English for Time and Again episode and this link https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... d-again-en shows it all saying it english yet the preview subtitles is foreign not english at all so therefore this is not an english subtitles.

What do I do?

What you are writing is actually two issues:
1. Some subtitles are listed as English, but they are not English
2. Some subtitles exist. I can find them when searching the web site manually, but not when using Kodi.

The answer to [1.] is simple. Some uploads are just listed wrongly - wrong language, wrong title, wrong episode, etc. It happens 'all the time', for various reasons.

What to do:
- Help out others not getting the same problem and report/correct the error using the correction form (the link "Correct subtitles"). For more explanation, see the forum topic https://forum.opensubtitles.org/viewtop ... f=1&t=2595 .
- Just choose another subtitle. For your example there are seven other subtitles available, see https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search ... ovie-81344 . I would say one of those is English

Issue [2.] has (probably) nothing to do with Kodi.
