Upload problem

When I try to upload my subtitle it says its in wrong format (I have it in SRT format, but still wrong format)..

I have the same problem with all my .srt files. :?
What could possibly be the problem?

There is no standard (sadly) for SRT. Ideally all subtitles should be Unicode (UTF-8), shouldn't contain any kind of style tags, should have lines no longer than 50 chars and no more than 3 lines per sub, no bracket tags, etc.)

There are programs that clean up subtitles out there. For example SubCleaner does it in Mac.
