What program to use to download subs

Hi, I found this page:
https://trac.opensubtitles.org/projects ... msUsingAPI
with the list of program that use the open subtitles database. I tried a bunch, but they are all crap. So instead of trying blindly, I would like to ask other users which one works. So far I tried:
-SubDownloader: Untold number of bugs, crashes, limits, etc
-Atlas Subtitler: The installer doesn't install the program, doesn't even have the data
-Opensubtitles downloader: besides many interface problems, it saves subtitles with names different that the file's name.
-Periscope: not for Windows (the list doesn't even tell that)
I count 69 links, and I really don't want to try one by one, especially if other people did it already. Please, can you pin me one that works on Windows, doesn't bug, doesn't have ads, saves subtitles with their proper name, and doesn't have any other shit that maybe I forgot to include in this list but should be obvious? Like for example, I don't know, being able to select a given language or, again, not to give stupid error messages and freeze, like the SubDownloader is famed to do?
Thanks
