After years of waiting for an auto downloader, we coded a program ourselves, it is in beta state right now, we would love to hear your feedback.
We used OpenSubtitles API to download subtitles, many thanks to OS.

Novaroma is free open source software. You can search and download tv shows, movies and subtitles automatically. Also you can use Novaroma with DLNA media servers (XMBC, Kodi, Plex, Serviio, PS3 etc.)
