OpenSubtitles forum

Just downloaded the Open Subtitles MKV player. Been playing with it for a hour now and give up.
It does not display the subtitles, which kind of makes it pointless.
I use VLC normally which plays the subtitles no problem on the same movies.
So what am I missing?

No matter now. I installed splayer. That finds the subtitles automatically and runs them no messing about.
For Chinese subs which is exactly what i needed.
