I dont want any other feature, I just want to make sure SolEol matched video correctly, so I have to see extension, thats all what I am asking.
Maybe it will help to somebody like me, so he is sure too. This is just suggestion.
I understand the request but not the reason behind it. I can't understand what problem showing a file extension solves (showing mp4 or mkv or avi). Maybe if you explain to me what's the issue this would solve I'd understand ad address the problem instead if patching the error.
The current version shows in the tooltip the file that was matched to the sub and will say when the icon is different that the sub couldn't be linked. I don't know if that solves the problem.
EDIT:
I thought this wasn't being clear enough, so I've uploaded some subs from the most recent version of SolEol (the one I'm working on right now).
When you add subs to SolEol you get a screen like this:
The dark chains signal that the subtitle is linked to a movie file. The light chain signals the subtitle is not linked to any movie file.
If you hover over the images you get a small tooltip that says what file is linked to the subtitle file:
And for the others:
Then you press the button to check for subtitles, and you can get several responses in the form of icons:
Of this the question mark has this message:
And if clicked will show up a window where the corresponding movie can be searched and an imdb attached to the subtitle. After which it will enable the checkbox and the icon will change as a document with a plus sign:
Which has its own tooltip:
If after checking all the data existed but the movie name then that's signaled by the "tag" icon and its tooltip:
Obviously the "Up" arrow means the subtitle will be uploaded.
There's an additional icon that is a checkmark, that just states the sub is already present and linked in the server:
