Hi oss,

Yes I have also downloaded a database file from subscene today (link found at reddit), and it is still unpacking, just to see, what you are dealing with :)

Yes, here a link to my subtitles from subscene now at subdl.com https://subdl.com/u/HaraldBluetooth

As an example: The first 11 Danish subtitles from that list:

The Eight Mountains 2022 ITALIAN 1080p BluRay x265-VXT
Nostalgia 2022 1080p BluRay x264 AAC5 1-[YTS MX]
Project Wolf Hunting 2022 720p BluRay x264-ORBS
Dreamin' Wild 2022 1080p WEBRip 5 1-LAMA
Blueback 2022 1080p WEBRip x264-LAMA
The Beasts 2022 SPANISH 1080p BluRay x265-VXT
Stand and Deliver 1988 720p WEB-DL AAC 2 0 H 264
Play 2011 SWEDiSH 1080p WEB H264-EKOLLON
The Dresser 1983 720p AMZN WEB-DL H264-Candial
Shadowlands 1993 NORDiC 1080p WEB-DL H 264 DD2 0-PiTBULL
Following 1998 Theatrical Cut m720p BluRay x264-BiRD

2 of them are at your site, but for different releases - you can see this from the start time from first line i the sub.

Which parameters are you using to decide, if they are dublets of what is uploaded at opensubtitles?

Cheers

HaraldBluetooth

A lot of the K dramas that don't have a IMDb ID were problematic. Wouldn't have been a problem on the .com website, but .org relies heavily on the IMDb URL set up and relies on it's API for data. Movies/series without IMDb can be uploaded manually by giving the subs a DATABASE ID, but the import was all automated, so some without IMDb ID's may have been missed/skipped.
The example I gave does have an IMDB ID: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29006388/
I tried to import all subtitles from subscene. There might be some subtitles missing - let me know which one (link to subdl.com is ok, so I see all the details).
One reason why something is not imported is multipacks - my script was unpacking everything and then trying to upload multipack, lets say 10 subtitles at one, but if we have just 1 subtitle from there, all upload fails.
If someone can verify if this is reason would be great.
If I understand correctly, you mean that the uploading of a multipack fails if one of the included subtitles is already on OpenSubtitles? That would not explain why no subtitles for A Good Day to be a Dog from Subscene were uploaded, given that there is only a few English ones and 2 Italian ones on OpenSubtitles at the moment. For instance, the Korean pack should have succeeded, as well as the individual missing subtitles for English, Italian.

Here are again the links:

Do you think you're violating copyright laws by importing subtitles from Subscene onto your website? Think about how you've been trying to avoid copyright laws =))

We have started the process to import again.

Please check "Uploaded subtitles" on this account: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/profil ... r-10030650
And the community can correct data if required by going through the uploaded pages.

Also, ADMINS/USERS, please help fix this section if possible with correct data:
www.opensubtitles.org/en/search/sublang ... ie-1493857

For those users that don't know how: viewtopic.php?t=2595#p8270
Assistance would be appreciated.

Admins, please feel free to delete any junk or duplicates.
Thank you.

guys, no need to give to SubSceneImport https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/profil ... r-10030650 read only permission, I am super admin right :)

dont worry, I need to run the script to import all subscene, I know there is dupes. Later on either you will disable those, or I will make script to disable those, but they need to be imported first.

Because of the volume, this appears to be a practically impossible task.
We are busy with finding a better and more practical solution.
