Hash regex wrong?

Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:43 pm

I think I have found a bug in the regex for detecting movie hashes (hit upon trying to upload subtitles).

A movie I have here has hash d6193630ebe7db. I have tested this in three different places with different sourcecodes. The hash is definitively that.

When I try to upload subs for it, the response I get is that the hash is too short:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <methodResponse> <params> <param> <value> <struct> <member> <name>status</name> <value> <string>412 moviehash: d6193630ebe7db has invalid format (not match /^[a-f0-9]{15,16}$/i)</string> </value> </member> <member> <name>data</name> <value> <string/> </value> </member> <member> <name>seconds</name> <value> <double>0.087</double> </value> </member> </struct> </value> </param> </params> </methodResponse>
