Uploaded Subtitles per user

Hello,

I was wondering: Is the "uploaded subtitles" per user (i.e. http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search/ ... ser-141911 ) being updated at all? Lots of subtitles I upload seem to be lost. I just uploaded a version of the subtitles for Wallace & Gromit fixing a few dozen lines (and added two lines for "SolEol" to ensure the file was different enough to not be considered "the same") yet it doesn't appear.

(I added the lines for SolEol explicitly to test that it would be uploaded, it's not a plan for the program or anything, my plan was to request its deletion after the test, if successful).

I don't mind if it doesn't appear in my user account, but I want to test if the language detection is working now (it used to flag as polish my files).

Ok. It finally dawned. This is being caused by the IMDB issues, which in turn mean the IMDBID is not being loaded properly and, in turn, the subtitles are never uploaded.

The IMDb ID shouldn't be affecting the uploads. It should still upload, it's just the name that doesn't appear and you get a number instead. Strange, but let's hope it gets fixed soon. It also affects the admins work, they have to check each subtitle separately to make sure it has the right ID. There you go, another obstacle for you chaps to deal with.

No, no. It affects SolEol's downloads because it uses OS's IMDB search service, which returns incorrect data. Others like SubDownloader do the same and have broken for the same reason.

Quick followup: This is now fixed, as the IMDB routines were fixed.
