Hello.
I registered on this forum several years ago. I don't participate very actively. When I tried to login today, the login process told me "The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator."
I used the "Resend activation email" option with my username and email address, but the response was "The email/username information submitted could not be found."
Then I tried to register again with my current username and email address. This time, the response was "The username you entered is already in use, please select an alternative. The entered email address is already in use."
So I registered with a different username and email address. But this has happened to me before, which means there are two unusable accounts that were once mine, but that I can't and never will be able to use. Also, every time this happens, I have to use a new email address, and that doesn't seem reasonable because I'll end up using up all the addresses I have.
Could these accounts be permanently deleted? If the answer is "YES," what would be the procedure for doing so?
