Can I submit a sub for a video not in IMDB?

Mon Apr 21, 2025 3:18 am

Must there be an IMDB entry for a sub to be submitted?

I have created a sub from a DVD documentary, "Trane Tracks: The Legacy of John Coltrane" It not listed in IMDB but it is listed (though not filled out :( ) in TMDB.

If there is no IMDb entry (but please, only then), you can create an 'internal' movie title:

In the upload form, next to the field "IMDB ID" there is a link "Add new movie".
Click on this link and do a search.
At the bottom of the search result list, click on the button to add it to the database.

You can now upload using this movie ID.

Please, make sure the movie title is spelled correctly and the year of release is given.
Nowadays a VPN is a must for everyone. A VPN allows you safe surfing and protects you against spying governments and companies.
I recommend AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.
