I install the extension, went on some page where is any video, put the "Inazuma Eleven GO Chrono Stone" in search bar and result is this:

so for me it works, it is not enough details you tell me...

But that is not what i want to search. That's just the first season, also, my subs are in vietnamese. I just found out that my series does not on TMDB, maybe that's why the search doesn't work for me, cuz all the other results fetched are on TMDB.

to be honest I am not sure, the best would be: send subtitle on opensubtitles.com (link) and what you try to search - with language setting. Then I can forward this to developer so he can look at it - we need to replicate problem first in order to fix it. So please be descriptive.
