Kodi add-on - opensub.com

Mon Jan 01, 2024 7:58 pm

I'm running Kodi 20.2 on Windows. I'm using the addon opensubtitles.org 5.1.4 which works fine (I'm a VIP member). As the add-on "opensutbitles.com" has a few more setting options, I've installed it (version 1.0.2). Although for a specific movie there are subs on .org (dutch ones), the .com add-on mostly does not give any subtitles for the same movie (not available). And when .com gives sometimes some subs, when I click on one, it always gives me the msg "error searching for subtitles". Am I missing something, or is the .com addon not working properly ? Tnx.

Get exactly the same. Correct username/password. Used add-on supplied API & also used my own one generated for this account.
Basically unusable

In the .com addon, as username I had added my email address. Now I have added my username and it works fine, more or less. The message "error searching for subtitles" doesn't appear anymore. When clicking on a sub, it works fine. But strange enough, most part of movies gives me no result (although there are subs in .org). So indeed, the .com addon is unusable. I think we have to give it some time.
