No audio in SW 2.51
I have a problem with SW 2.51, I have no sound at all in it, while in Subtitle Edit I have it in SW 6.0b as well. Also, my audio chops when I watch movies, specifically serbian documentary series "Comrade Marko". I run Win 8.1 on a temporary Toshiba laptop. I put the latest Realtek for Win 8.1, it doesn't help. I'm not smart about it. If you can help.

I would start by grabbing the the latest K-Lite pack, and make sure all codecs are updated.

Grab the mega package and install. Use default settings to begin with.

Just tested a fresh install of SW 2.51 in parallel with an existing SW 6.0b on a Win 10 LTSC workstation. All appears to work properly for video and audio with latest codecs installed. For reference, MKV files were used for evaluation.
Some suggestions:
Use a program such as gSpot
https://www.videohelp.com/software/GSpot
This will identify currently installed codecs and also properties of your media for comparison.
Note: In the past, I recall having to install splitters such as Haali, but I believe now that LAV is installed with K-Lite. I’m not sure, but if both are installed this might create some problems.
