Unexpected [401 Unauthorized] when calling SearchSubtitles

Mon Oct 12, 2015 5:42 pm

Hi all,

I'm forwarding this issues from the filebot forums. HTTP communication logs can be found here:
https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopi ... 221#p17220
https://www.filebot.net/forums/viewtopi ... 221#p17221

This is what happens:
* GetSubLanguages [OK]
* LogIn [OK] (at Mon, 12 Oct 2015 14:29:44 GMT)
* SearchSubtitles [OK]
* SearchSubtitles [401 Unauthorized] (at Mon, 12 Oct 2015 14:29:55 GMT)
* SearchSubtitles [401 Unauthorized]
* LogOut [OK]

It looks like the authentication token obtained from LogIn is suddenly not valid any more.

I'm pretty sure this issue only affects a small number of users, but it has come up a few times recently. Maybe a load-balancing or caching issue?

thanks for reporting.

Can you confirm, this happens, ONLY if subtitle is downloaded in meantime using HTTP ?

so it looks like:

1. xml-rpc login
2. xml-rpc search subtitles
3. http download subtitles
4. xml-rpc > unauthorised ?

I got one user complaining about this also. It would be great to capture all communication (including 401) using filebot via debug mode.

I attempted to batch fetch subtitles and it completed without any issues. Not to jump the gun, but it seem to be working now :)
Looks good. Thanks for the fix!
