[solved] Servers trying to recode subs and failing

since a few hours, opensubtitles links can't be used in their vast majority.

Example of a link to a french subtitle sent by the API:

http://dl.opensubtitles.org/en/download ... 745766.srt

API doesn't error, it's the links that are wrong. Error is:
[CRITICAL ERROR] Unable to change encoding from UTF-8 to !
No request to recode was asked to OpenSubs on the client side.

Any idea what's causing this?
