I see your recent upload http://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitl ... m-style-ko
That means, did you solve the problem?

If the file is ANSI or UTF-8 and a .srt file, there should be no problem. Please make sure that it is NOT unicode encoded. Also, since it seems you don't need exotic characters, maybe best just use ANSI encoding. So, try again.

If it still doesn't work, send me the problem file by email and i will look and try.

Kanduri: I got the file, it was UTF-8 and I tried converting it to ANSI, 3 BOM bytes less. And some other ways of converting. But it still gave me the error.

To be honest, I was thinking (hoping) I could make a solution, but I don't. It's a mystery to me too.

SimplyTheBoss: You seem speechless in the message above ;-)
But... would you have an idea maybe? I have sent you the file by email.

Yeah, maybe it's a result of the anti-spam measure. But the only thing I can see is that the file is just a bit small, that should not be enough reason to reject...
Let's wait for Oss, maybe he can shine a light on the mystery?

Sorry, I don't get it. Image

It must be a softwaresided bug.
Amongst other things I even created a complete new file in the subtitle editor and wrote the timing and the text manually new.
It also can't be a question of size. I added new lines so the file was about 30 kb, but still can't upload it.

Thanks for trying, arcchancellor.
So it's a mystery, and I can only think it's a result of an anti-spam measure. I think only Oss can explain it maybe.

Kanduri: So it looks like we can do nothing about this - at least for the moment. So sorry...

Subtitle which contains only 46 lines and several same repetitive phrases, I think it's pretty clear why filter rejects this. This might happen once in a lifetime (with subtitles for a movie.)

Aha. It's not a bug, it's a feature. Image
In this case we spare the possibility that opensubtitles.org will be flooded with songtexts.
