dotsub.com looks cool, but this is slightly focused on translations only.

thanks for the link, os!

overstream offers much more than jsut translations. you can do director's comments or captions.
in future overstream will support on the fly translations from any language to any language.

seems good, but do any one know where to get a screen recorder (something that records what happens on the screen), that is free, and dont make movies on 100mb for just 10secs?
its something that ive allways wished for getting =)
so i could opload something to youtube :P and show my friend :P

there are many, you just have to setup right codec. I knew one good, but forget its name :)

I have mostly problems with catching real media streams. I've also tried to catch specific part of screen once, but I don't thing it's useful in every day use.

For Windows media streams, MMS, Http v1.0 streaming protocol, Http progressive, mmst and mmsu over both TCP and UDP protocols, I can recommend you this programm

It's very easy to use and you don't have to set any codecs. I've recorded several movies and shot videos with it, never had a problem.
