"API seems offline"

Tue Jul 07, 2020 3:24 pm

Hi, community,

The functionality on my site requires subtitles for all episodes in a season of TV-show. I'm using opensubtitles-api node module. It works fine for seasons with less than 16 episodes. But when the number of episodes is bigger, I'm getting the error "API seems offline". If there is a problem with limits, does it possible to raise this limit?

There is not a maximum on number of episodes, but of number of subtitles. The limit is 200 per day. If you download all subs of all episodes, you can easily reach that number.

Also, you must be logged in.

I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.

Yes, if you become a VIP member the limit goes up to 1000 subs per 24 hours.
