BSPlayer can't find my uploaded subtitles

Fri Sep 01, 2017 1:49 pm

Hi, After I upload a subtitle( in Portuguese language) using the opensubtitles web site, and then try to search for the current playing movie in BSPlayer for the subtitle, BSPlayer says no subtitles found on opensubtitles.org for Portuguese language.
When I uploaded the subtitles, I typed in the correct frame rate and the exact move file name i.e. Sand Storm
And still, BSPlayer won't find the subtitle. What am I doing wrong?

I think this is the subs you are talking about: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... at-chol-pb

You have uploaded the subtitle manually, using the web form. Because of the manual upload, there is no hash code. BSPlayer (and pretty much any other software using OpenSubtitles to search for subs) are using this hashcode to find subs. So no hash code, no result - even though it exists on the site.

The solution is to upload using some software which includes such hash code. For example the OpenSubtitles-Uploader ( https://github.com/vankasteelj/opensubt ... r/releases ).
Nowadays a VPN is a must for everyone. A VPN allows you safe surfing and protects you against spying governments and companies.
I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.
