it depends what time you are trying. When are servers pretty loaded I am sleeping, but I can see that in graph. Tonight I think I will debug whats going on.

Hell-ooooo! We're back on "Error 500" territory.

I guess I'll add a special case for checking this, since the API doesn't send an error, but a normal HTML page with javascript and all. I guess I'll look for "our servers are overloaded (error 500)" in the results and report this as a problem to the user instead of activating the auto-retry.

yes, it is pain in the ass, I am changing something in the server setup, optimizing thinga, because when site is in peak times, it gets REALLY slow, and I dont want that. For example, I re-enabled query_cache in mysql 5.1.x and it seems it is still broken (at least on FreeBSD), so today I dowgraded one of mysql servers to 5.0, we will see.

Also I got good news, we will move our database to faster hardrives (now using 7200 rpm I guess, will be 15k rpm, so access times will be much faster = more speed, will put it on Raid 1_ = so I hope everything will work much better.

Sorry for downtime, it hurts me too.

Nah. It's OK. I just had nothing to do while it was down. It hits right in the couple of hours a day I use to code :P

I do wish the error page had an error code, but I've already accounted for the current text.
