Thu Mar 08, 2007 11:23 am

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it as I would like to burn some movies for my parents and include Greek subs.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry, my Greek is ruinous. I never formally studied grammar.

For the Greek subtitles problems first get Videolan player

Then you have to change some settings:
>Preferences -> Input / Codecs -> Other codecs -> Subtitles under "Subtitles text encoding" choose ISO-8859-7(the Greek codepage) press Save and close the player.

Then to load subtitles and a video file from now just go to:
>File>Open File:
At the "Open" field browse until you have the movie selected. Below it will say "Use Subtitle" click that checkbox...
Then where it says "File" browse until you select the subtitle file.

That will get Greek subtitles working under Videolan which is my preferred player of choice.
