OSs, why did you remove the link to the Java uploader? I was still using that one now and again.

I'm implementing (nearly done) localization for the app itself.

You can now look at https://github.com/vankasteelj/opensubt ... calization

and replicate the "en.json" file, name it "mylangcode.json" and translate the sentences (only the 2nd iteration of them). To test in-app, you'll need to build yourself or wait for next version.

[EDIT] (SimplyTheBOSS) Link corrected.

Update 1.3.0 has been published.

@OS: there's been some mistake with localization files, they're now under https://github.com/vankasteelj/opensubt ... calization

If you could change the URL on opensubtitles, it would be great :)

ok I will change it.

Also I recommend to use https://trac.opensubtitles.org/projects ... FromString - now it is pretty stable. Check the responses for Episodes/Series, I add there something extra too.

ah yes! @OSS that GuessFromString is great, now it automagically matches 99% of all the tested files, instead of the previous 80%. There's stil an issue though, you might want to check on your side to ignore some entries from files title, like: "VOSTFR" or "VOST", that causes the matching to fail.

great it is helpful. I am not logging this, so if you send me couple of files, which fails, will be good.

Example of unmatched files:
  • Brasil VOSTFR.avi
  • Meet The Feebles - VOSTFR.avi
  • Juan de Los Muertos [2011] DVRIP-XVID-AC3-FANSUB- VOSTFR LaTeam@TaMère.avi
Example of matched files (but not with BestGuess, only because moviehash is present in DB):
  • Ali G In Da House vostfr.avi
Example of other unmatched files, not containing VO/ST-like keywords:
  • Star.Wars.Episode.V - L'Empire.Contre.Attaque.avi (detected as star wars VII)
  • Star Wars - Episode 01- La.Menace.Fantôme.avi (detected as star was IV)

Someone was apparently lost on how to use the app, so here's a youtube tutorial: https://youtu.be/jrIgL8kwBdI (pardon my french)

Nice work about OpenSubitles Uploader. Congratulations. Stil I expected something else. To have movie for subtitle is big obligation, and I can't see point of this.
Can be maked app for upload just subtitles, like this:
1) Input movie name
2) Input IMDb number
3) Input fps (not requied)
4) Input release (not requied)
5) HI or not
6) HD
and to to provide multiple files upload?
Maybe something like this already exists?

1.3.1 has been published.

I've received 0 translation from OS community. Please look at this file, it's all the "strings" (sentences or words) to translate.

It's easy:

"Send":"Send" is english.
"Send":"Envoyer" is french.
"Send":"<insert here how you say 'send' in your lang>" for your lang.

I can see you all, using OpenSubtitles in Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Portuguese(Brazil), Greek and Slovenian and clicking the link on OpenSubtitles.org (open data: https://github.com/vankasteelj/opensubt ... op-domains)

Hi,

there is blog article about it, http://blog.opensubtitles.eu/opensubtit ... s-uploader - I also put on upload page some info.

Maybe I have to motivate users by giving them VIP to get some translation back...

Thx for update.
