Windws Media Player Classic cannot connect to database

Tue Jul 07, 2015 11:27 am

Here a translation of a topic posted in the Dutch section.
I don't have an answer, maybe someone else can help?

Translation:
For some time I'm using windows media player classic subtitles by clicking "bestand" (file), then "ondertitelingsdatabase" (subtitle database) and then "ontvangen" (receive). Usually, a small window with a list of subtitles in several languages would appear.

I never had any problems with this, always worked well, but the last three weeks I get the error "Kan geen verbinding maken met de online ondertitel database"
(Cannot connect to the online subtitle database).

I have already checked and reset options, and re-entered the link.
Does anybody know what could be the problem?

I am using Windows 7 Home edition with Windows media player classic MPC HC.
Nowadays a VPN is a must for everyone. A VPN allows you safe surfing and protects you against spying governments and companies.
I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.
