it is fixed. the problem was settings with cloudflare which we changed that time, when the problem started.

Okay, I will ask my 7th cavalery if it's okay now.
And if not... woooooowwwwww - mind you, you better hide.

It is working for me again too. Thank you very much for the fix.
Using the uploader is much nicer than doing everything manually.

I have no idea was this cause by OS-U or opensubtitles.org, so posting it here.

I used OS-U to update hash for file:
https://www.opensubtitles.org/fi/subtit ... magpies-fi
and it was released as new subtitle into:
https://www.opensubtitles.org/fi/subtit ... magpies-fi

(did manually download the subtitle and no adds where added, did check it)
Did diffcheck and they seems identical. They have same UTF-8 container.

Was wondering was this one random mistake, so tested it again with 2nd episode and same outcome:
Original: https://www.opensubtitles.org/fi/subtit ... he-cave-fi
Hash update turned into new version: https://www.opensubtitles.org/fi/subtit ... he-cave-fi

So stopped updating hash infos until any dev can look what is going on.

Both these examples involve subs with v2 and v3 updates. For these updates, there is a cache involved, so it COULD be that the system got confused. It will be a too lengthy research to investigate this, if possible at all.

I have a theory what could be the case, but I would need an example without updates. Has your problem ever occurred with subs without update versions?

@SmallBrother
I have not notice issues with subs that had updated versions before.

Will mark those accidental updates to be deleted, manually add text info to include original subs work with x subs and hope this doesn't come up often.

My 2 pennies worth.
Next time you want to update hash for files like that, logout of OS-U first, and then try the process. See what happens.
When logged in, more often than not OS-U will upload a new file by yourself if it's a little different.

OpenSubtitles-Uploader has been updated, the new binaries can be found at https://github.com/vankasteelj/opensubt ... /tag/2.6.0

Note that if you're on an unsupported platform (Linux 32 bits, Windows XP) and have a locally installed version, you might want to manually make these changes: https://github.com/vankasteelj/opensubt ... 92752bb34e and keep everything else as it was.

actually old version will work also, I just made some updates. Just make sure you log out from www.opensubtitles.org and then you log in again, and then you can try old version...
