I just purchased VIP status with bitcon. I got the email saying I was now VIP.
Bazaar still says PaymentRequired. The refresh button does nothing.
I did configure the provider as VIP = yes.
I tried to remove and re-add the provider.
Am I missing a step?

it should work, specially if you work with "opensubtitles" provider, but also (prefered) opensubtitlescom provider should work.

I too am using VIP with Bazarr and I don't see how to name the providers as "opensubtitles" or opensubtitlescom.
It is only possible to choose from the drop down and that includes 'opensubtitles.com' and 'opensubtitles.org' which mentions that it only works with VIP.
In another place: found after noticing there was a system error - 'configuration error' noted for opensubtitlescom (correct name form too)
I googled that error and it suggested not using an email address as a user name (which I do)

we are not using bazaar ourselves, it is good they call services now properly. So, to repeat, always use username, and password for corresponding service and YES, opensubtitles.org works JUST with VIP - you must be VIP user to use it. opensubtitles.com also works for free accounts. As said, we want people move from old API opensubtitles.org to the new one.

The new one being opensubtitles.com I assume. I have both as providers in Bazarr so I would assume it will use one or the other. Also the VIP status should work automatically for both, or is there some system of transfer I should use?

.org extension is end of life and old technology. You need VIP to use that extension.
.com extensions are still available for free users without VIP.
If your program supports both extensions and you are VIP, then it doesn't matter which version of the extension you use.
Some programs are only able to use .org extension. These programs aren't designed by us, so we can't control what those developers do.
If you want your username to be changed here (forum), maybe we can do that, too.
