HI,

You can use any of the subtitle programs from this topic to help fix it for you:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2881#p9206

Specifically the programs under the "PROGRAMS TO EDIT/SYNC SUBTITLES" section.

Good-luck.

From what I saw that file is damaged.
If the subtitle is ssa, how is it possible to come in an srt file?
I think someone took the text from the ssa file and pasted it into an srt file.

And it stayed like this :

Code: Select all

[Script Info] ; Script generated by Aegisub 3.1.3 ; http://www.aegisub.org/ Title: Default Aegisub file ScriptType: v4.00+ WrapStyle: 0 ScaledBorderAndShadow: yes YCbCr Matrix: None Aegisub Scroll Position: 0 Aegisub Active Line: 0 Aegisub Video Zoom Percent: 1.000000 [V4+ Styles] Format: Name, Fontname, Fontsize, PrimaryColour, SecondaryColour, OutlineColour, BackColour, Bold, Italic, Underline, StrikeOut, ScaleX, ScaleY, Spacing, Angle, BorderStyle, Outline, Shadow, Alignment, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Encoding Style: Default,Arial,18,&H00FFFFFF,&H000000FF,&H00000000,&H00000000,-1,0,0,0,100,100,0,0,1,1,0,2,10,10,253,1 Style: Default1,Arial,18,&H00FFFFFF,&H000000FF,&H00000000,&H00000000,-1,0,0,0,100,100,0,0,1,1,0,2,10,10,0,1 [Events] Format: Layer, Start, End, Style, Name, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Effect, Text Dialogue: 0,0:00:01.76,0:00:05.23,Default,,0,0,0,,- "34 minutos" - "Beach" \ N "playa" escucha. Open the file with subtitle edit or subtitle workshop, and convert the subtitle to SubRip (.srt) format.
After converting it will look like this :

1
00:00:01,760 --> 00:00:05,230
- "34 minutos" - "Beach"
\ N "playa" escucha.

2
00:00:07,760 --> 00:00:11,190
Estamos en el camino.
Segundos más y estamos allí.

3
00:00:11,200 --> 00:00:12,870
"playa" - "34". Dejar de lado todo.

4
00:00:12,970 --> 00:00:15,630
¿Necesita más brigada móvil fuera Agmon.

5
00:00:15,680 --> 00:00:17,830
"82 minutos" - "playa". Llegamos a la zona.

6
00:00:17,840 --> 00:00:22,840
Todo estaba arreglado \ nLe
hacia la calle Haatsmaut ..

7
00:00:30,680 --> 00:00:35,680
"406 °" - "playa" \ nSe están viendo...

8
00:00:42,000 --> 00:00:45,330
regresar de inmediato.

9
00:00:46,400 --> 00:00:50,310
Cine Erez Tadmor

10
00:00:51,390 --> 00:00:55,590
"tierra herida"

11
00:00:59,240 --> 00:01:01,420
gazuy, gazuy, bueno, lo pierde.

Then you can remove a lot of letters that you said were added for no reason.
And break the text into two lines.

I can offer some general guidance on how you might fix a corrupted subtitle file manually.

Open the subtitle file: Use a text editor, such as Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac), to open the subtitle file.

Check the file encoding: Ensure that the subtitle file is encoded in a compatible format, such as UTF-8. If it's encoded differently, try saving it with UTF-8 encoding.

Remove unnecessary characters: If you notice extra letters or random characters in the subtitle file, you can manually delete them. Make sure to keep the essential subtitle text intact.

Adjust line breaks: Subtitles usually have a specific format with line breaks at appropriate points. Check if the subtitle lines are too long and causing text overflow. Split the lines at suitable positions, ensuring they are still meaningful and maintain the timing with the video.

Save and test: After making the necessary modifications, save the subtitle file with the appropriate file extension (e.g., .srt, .sub). Then, try playing the video with the modified subtitle file to see if the issue is resolved.
