When logging into MX player pro get this message

can't save files on your subtitle folder . please check write permission of / storage/emulated/0/subtitles

I cannot find where to give it a write permission and my login credentials disappear off the login screen

When logging into MX player pro get this message

can't save files on your subtitle folder . please check write permission of / storage/emulated/0/subtitles

I cannot find where to give it a write permission and my login credentials disappear off the login screen

What version are you using?
I try with mx player pro v1.51.8
and I can save subtitles in storage/emulated/0/subtitles without any problem, this version doesn't even need a login.

To give permission:

Long click on mx player icon - click on i (app info)
permissions -
and choose the option - allow management of all files.
