Hi all

since few days SUBTITLE ZIP downloads are blocked in CHROME on opensubtitles.org. We are working to solve this issue, but it not depends on us (first we need to find out the cause, and contacting google is really hard...)

Anyway, workaround:
- use different browser
- use www.opensubtitles.com

In firefox is also having problems.
I can only download it if i click on "allow transfer"

And with the warning:
This file can damage your computer.
This file is disguised as a utility download, but it will make unexpected changes to your programs and settings.

With Chrome, not only ZIP, but also SRT files of opensubttles.org are a problem.
With Firefox, only the ZIP files are a problem.
With Edge, everything is like before.

Temporary solution:
(Firefox) Do not download the ZIP file (the download button), but download only the single SRT file (by clicking on the SRT file name).
or
(Firefox) Allow the download manually with every single download.
or
Use Edge.

Warning:
It is possible to 'fix' the problem by changing security settings of the browser. But this setting will change all behavior of the browser for ALL websites and ALL downloads and thus will make your computer more vulnerable. This 'solution' is dangerous and NOT recommended.

i didn't know it was possible to download just an srt file. it's annoying as hell to get zip files even though there is only one srt in the zip file.

I got finally report on google webmaster tools, they are funny:

1 issue detected
Google has detected harmful content on some of your site’s pages. We recommend that you remove it as soon as possible. Until then, browsers such as Google Chrome will display a warning when users visit or download certain files from your site.

I'm not sure if 'website reputation' got something to do with it, but today I have noticed some difference

►Website's reputation checked 10 day's: SCUMWARE Detected
► And it goes on and on...

Today's check seems to be fine,

Right now: 28-12-'22, ZIP files @ (FireFox) are still blocked.
Let's wait for some google refreshments...
