Goodmorning everyone!!!

I have a problem(?).

Few days ago, I wanted to see which subs I had downloaded, and saw this message: "Requested page is temporarily unavailable, please try again later".

Now I can' t see (the downloaded ones) at all.

Is this temporary?

Thanks for your time and interest.

Mihail

Maybe it's the membership you have. I'm Bronze and i can't see the uploaded files as well but i can see the downloaded files.
According to my opinion, you are supposed to have a higher membership so that you see them or there is a problem temporarly.

it is not temporary, problem is, I log all downloads into one table and it takes long time t filter only downloaded subtitles for some user. It is bad design, I have to log to some table only subtitles downloaded by som Users. I also use Merge tables.

But before the "problem" of the site, there wasn't such a problem...

yes, we are running low on resources, so it is big problem now. And also it was problem before, coz it blocks database. As I told, it is problem in tables.

I don't need any download counter or whatever counter. I would just like to be able to upload and download subtitles. Why not remove all those stats from the public interfaces until you've figured out the bottleneck? I think the priority should be to get the site working again, with or without stats. All I've been getting in the last weeks is 500s and "Try again" pages.

yeah guys, I agree with you, hopefully we got better times now.

I will try to fix this download counters, I think it was just server issues, we will see, when server will be stable.

An option that could be met halfway is to store the counters elsewhere already calculated. And have them all be calculated overnight.

The calculation would be made by batch only on those users that have a subtitle uploaded after the last batch was run. This way only the counters that need updating would be updated and it wouldn't be at web page load but overnight.
