Edit SmallBrother:
In English:

Anything known about a malfunction?
An Nvidia Shield with addon 5.1.3, while being logged in, the addon (from behind a VPN) does not show any subtitles.
It says "No subtitles found".

it should work, make sure you are using opensubtitles.org username and password in settings of kodi opensubtitles addon.. Also when site is temporarily down - you can not open (500 error and similar) https://api.opensubtitles.org/xml-rpc - you have to wait a bit.

hi, you need to provide username and password in KODI ADDON preferences (opensubtitles addon). Use same username and password as you use on opensubtitles.org

Not sure if it's connected, but I just tried to d/l
one of my old subs uploaded 4 years ago
and cannot do it. I get this message:

"Requested page was blocked in response to a
complaint we received under the DMC".

Other subs seem to d/l okay, Very puzzled.

Subs are for 'The Strange Love of Molly Loubain'..

What's this all about? Is it connected to the recent website hack?

Thanks Funchalese for the link.

Very interesting. When I upped those subs there were
**no** other subs for that movie on this site or any other site.
Not in English/French/Spanish or any other language.

I transcribed them myself by just listening to the audio (as I do with all uploads).
They were brand new subs. Totally original with zero possibility that
they had been copied/cloned/hacked/machine translated from elsewhere.

So odd that a big organization like DMCA would pounce
on this particular set of movie subs for any reason at all.
'Molly' is an ordinary, small B-movie from 90 years ago
with no big stars and very, very limited general appeal.

Interesting for to me muse on the opposite situation whereby a
film Co' has d/l subs from this website (for free!) and then attached
them to a new DVD/Blu-ray release. No money changes hands alas.

Which is bit unfair.

It would be 'fair' if I got a dollar for every individual
download of my subs from this website. Ha!

I can dream.
