Hi,

If you use the end digits of the IMDb ID URL after "tt", in the search bar and hit enter, it may still show up under search.
When we receive such requests, we normally have to comply.
Here: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/search ... dbid-23525

If not unblocked after a month or so or the above doesn't work, write directly to us using the "contact us" form asking if it can be unblocked.
If it was yours from scratch and "fan made," so to speak, it shouldn't have been blocked in the first place, IMHO. Strange.

Thanks for the llinks, Scooby and Oss.

Some interesting reading there. I knew that TV/Movie
copyright issues were a big problem for torrent sites but I thought
the small (tiny) world of subtitling wasn't bothered by legal stuff.

It's still puzzling why DMCA would object to subs for this harmless little movie.
Perhaps a clue is in the title: "Strange Love" and "Molly" are words that can
get picked up and filtered out in Bing and Google searches for possible
porn connections. Maybe that's it.

I already have a copy of my original subs for Molly so that's okay.

Interesting links, indeed.

I still can't fathom what business it would be of theirs for a subtitle they didn't create or have in their own possession and which was "fan made" from scratch for a movie from (a)eons ago. I don't see other subtitle sites suffering from DMCA requests the way we do, either.
Maybe we're too big and famous?

Site will be online soon. We are doing some necessary backups and upgrades. Thanks for understanding.
Merging and migrating database.
Downtime to be expected at least 3 hours from now. Hopefully site will be a lot better after that.
