Re: YOU want to be an Administrator at opensubtitles?

Hi, I'm sorry if it's a little offtopic, but is there anyone I can PM about potential power abuse from one of the non-English admins? I'm relatively new to translating but I'm pretty sure I'm following the rules (like no duplicates or machine translation) however my stuff keeps getting deleted anyway.

I have moved your post to a new topic.

Before jumping to conclusions, usually admins give a reason why subs are deleted. You should get a notification (unless you have turned this feature off in your profile settings). Also, if you open the URL of the subtitle which was deleted, it shows WHO deleted it and WHY.

I have checked uploads by user "tapas" ( https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/profile/iduser-1244645 ) but this user has never uploaded any subtitles (deleted or not). What is your username for the subtitle site? This can be different than username for this forum.

Anyway, have you already contacted the admin who deleted you subs and asked? Maybe that would be the first step.
Nowadays a VPN is a must for everyone. A VPN allows you safe surfing and protects you against spying governments and companies.
I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.
