Increase font size in line in SW

Sat Sep 26, 2020 1:21 pm

I'm interested in whether it is possible in SW to somehow increase certain words in the subtitle line?
I see HTML code <span> </span> appearing in some subtitles, which it doesn't seem to accept.

With the SRT file type, all (HTML) formatting should be avoided, for reasons of compatibility. It may work and it may not work - and then displaying those tags as plain text, very bad.

Also, I would think twice before using any text formatting anyway. Subtitles are meant to support the movie and should be as invisible and unnoticed as possible. The simpler, the better.

But for what you want, consider the SSA file type.

I advise AirVPN - from € 2,75 per month. Click the below banner for more info.

I agree with you. Just was thinking it would be nice to have possibility to emphasize some words in certain situations.
