Synchronization issues and 29.970 fps.

I tried the Front of the class subtitles

Sadly, none of them work with the release I have -

Front of the Class 2008 Hallmark 720p HDRip X264 Solar

I tried both aegisub and subtitleedit and changed frame rate from either 23.976 or 25.000 fps to 29.970 which is the frame-rate of the movie. I am fully deaf so don't know from where the voice starts and music dies down so it's impossible for me to sync. I did give few tries but nothing worked, maybe somebody else could give it a try . Looking forward to it, have already requested in the Request for subtitle, thank you :)

Yes, actually this is a request and the forum is not the right place for that.

Sometimes it is just a matter of adjusting the frame rate, but definitely not always. Often it also involves a forward or backward shift, and maybe even a resync based on 'blocks' (typical for HDTV videos). I understand as hearing impaired you can't do nothing by yourself and you are depending on others, but requesting and waiting for others to do the job is the only way to go...

Uploaded a quick fix for the subtitle issue you are having. The Solar release has about 10 minutes hacked out from what I can tell from my Hallmark DVD, so it was not just sync issues. Give it a try and let me know, not perfect, but at least watchable without committing tons of time to it. Great movie by the way. File: https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... e-class-en

mrtinkles, thank you for very much. I do try to see Hallmark Solar releases, many of them are run of the mill romances, but once in a while they do hit a runner just like they hit this one, thank you for fixing the subtitle, now it runs fine, thanx again a lot :)

Scooby, thank you very much. It's sad that I can't follow the releaser by having the site tools. Hopefully in opensubtitles.com that would be a feature. I anyways have bookmarked him so can use his releases whenever I see/want, thank you for sharing a great resource :)
