Using square brackets in the filename?

Sat Mar 28, 2020 6:19 pm

Could the site allow the use of square brackets in the filename. Many popular publications include them. Unnecessary renaming is required as the texts should have the same name. The site has a large number of users :)

...or if there is a specific reason if this cannot be done?

e.g.
release:Joxxr.2019.720p.WEBRip.x264-[YTS.LT].mp4
uploaded txt: Joxxr.2019.720p.WEBRip.x264-[YTS.LT].srt
loaded txt : Joxxr.2019.720p.WEBRip.x264-.YTS.LT.srt

(sorry if processed earlier, my search didn't work in the forum)

Hi,

Some parts of the forum are broken, unfortunately. Should be fixed soon.
Yes, I agree with the YTS release names that can be problematic. When you upload: Joxxr.2019.720p.WEBRip.x264-[YTS.LT]. The release name gets filled in automatically as: Joxxr.2019.720p.WEBRip.x264-[YTS.LT], but the subtitle itself is stored as: Joxxr.2019.720p.WEBRip.x264-YTS.LT. Hopefully that shouldn't be too hard to fix and accommodate.
oss will hopefully make us aware here when/if it's been implemented.

Cheers
