Could somebody fix part of https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtitles/7868890/christmas-eve-en

Sat Aug 17, 2019 8:59 pm

I fixed quite a bit of the subtitle and uploaded it with a new release name https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... mas-eve-en but there are still issues with that uploaded subtitle. The issues are -

a. For some reason in mpv it says the subtitle language is lt although I don't know of any language which is lt and the subtitle is in english for the english version.

b. Between 947 and 948 there is a song. That song needs to be added/adjusted so it follows the numerical pattern and 948 which is the next dialogue should be 965 onwards.

I am sure there are other issues as well. I did fix the timings issues on the subtitle before which I took from opensubtitles.org but still it needs more fixes.

Hi jivan,
about that, its very simple - the filename contains .LT at the end. just remove the ".lt" from the filename
for example:
i use vlc for videos with subs, lets say i play
blabla.2019.x264-OSrips.mkv
the subtitle should be
blabla.2019.x264-OSrips.srt right?
but if ill add .heb as for Hebrew = blabla.2019.x264-OSrips.heb.srt
vlc will show "Hebrew" when i go and choose the subtitle.
thats usefull when there are multiple subs in different languges and they all contain the same filename,
andwe all know windows doesnt allow that.

Btw, if you have an improved version, you can simply update the existing subtitles through the link "Correct subtitles" and then the text link "update". This way is better and easier than deleting the old and completely reuploading the new version.
Also, a lot of your subtitles are for the hearing impaired versions. If you could select the "Subtitles for hearing impaired" icon upon uploading those kind of subtitles. Thank you.
