I can't download any subtitles:I hit the 'DOWNLOAD' button and nothing happens. No subtitles in my Downloads folder. Tried it on three different Macs in three different browsers. Always the same thing. Based in the UK, using a VPN set to a UK IP address....

It's been the same thing at my end as well. I tried both opensubtitles.org as well as opensubtitles.com. I guess the developer goofed up somewhere. It's been a week since I have been unable to download anything :(

Thanks all, but now when I click on 'download', I get a pair of pop-ups exhorting me to d/l a Chrome extension (I'm not using Chrome). The subset seems to d/l OK, but, it's really annoying. But, as per fun7om's advice, the filename seems to work OK.

Finally, season 1 of 'Counterpart' with all that subtitle-y goodness!!!

Since yesterday evening and still at this very moment I cannot get Dutch subtittles to either TV Shows or movies.
Somehow everytime just subtittles of Lord of the Rings??

Can anyone give me advise pls.

@ignatzzzz which browser are you using ? Are you not faking useragent somehow ? Extension pop should show only for FF and Chrome.
@Provi86 - very strange, but probably you are using banned IP address. We will fix this problem.

I get reports from people having trouble using the download button.
It just does nothing, apparently in Firefox and MS Edge.

What Provi86 is talking about (those LOTR subs) is a typical IP issue.

Indeed, I have the same problem since some days.

BUT: if you RIGHTclick the Download button and choose 'open in other tab',
it would immediately download the subtitle

- opening an empty new tab (but not navigating to it - you can just close it afterwards)

hi, strange. Which browser do you use and also please try in incognito/pricate mode (maybe you have cached old JS)

Same problem here.
It was working fine, but today when i click on Download button, dont work.
When I click on 'download' : Page not found

For me similar trouble.
I go to https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... hapsody-nl
I click on the download button
Page goes to https://www.opensubtitles.org/en/subtit ... ub/7639877
But no download, no dialog, empty page.

Latest Firefox (restarted and cleaned) on a windows box.

The same using Opera...
