It's just one line, but ....

Thanks to group for NORDiC bulk text, but shouldn't be so lazy to place they ad OVER the next to last line at the end. Making a new line would take only a few seconds. (texts are in finnish, last line is the translator)

example:
2386
01:46:07,326 --> 01:46:08,327
Todista se!

2387
01:46:25,014 --> 01:46:30,514
.:: TWA - Your Source Of Quality!::.
http://www.nordicB.org

2388
01:51:06,334 --> 01:51:08,336
Käännös: Annemai Oksanen

and original...

2386
01:46:08,326 --> 01:46:09,327
Todista se!

2387
01:46:27,429 --> 01:46:29,723
Antaa mennä!

2388
01:51:07,334 --> 01:51:09,336
Käännös: Annemai Oksanen

My super ego demands of me to allow 60 milliseconds (to show my handle) for the work done whenever I at least spent four to seventeen hours on a subtitle.

Then there are folks that for mere resynching demand 128 seconds, 100 millis per letter added... (a letter added per line, for ages... How annoying is that?)

Okay. Speaking for myself, I sometimes have to put a line at bottom to explain what was done, and I truly like to see that take a only a few milliseconds.
A subliminal flash, at most.
I do NOT delete translator credits, but I would delete egotripping (or team) spam from lines where I observed it to be annoying.
In other words... URL die, credits stay, own ego, not truly important.

We have some 'rules' written about that, see https://forum.opensubtitles.org/viewtop ... =1&t=15787

So the question is, is nordicB.org a subtitle creating community, or 'just' a web site collecting subtitles from all over the internet?
That would make the difference between the URL being allowed or forbidden.

Besides that (and that is my personal opinion, not a 'rule'), I think credits shouldn't be too intrusive and in proportion.
For example, not immediately a split second after the last line of spoken text. Not seventeen times all over the place. Not two minutes of animated colored text.
Instead, for example when the end credits (of the movie) start, synced with sound and/or view.

In this case, without going into what nordicB.org really is (too lazy to sign up for an account), I see before the two modest seconds for the translator 5,5 seconds of 'screaming' for some web site. To me, this looks at least a bit disproportional.

I'm sorry, I didn't make it clear enough. There's an ad instead of a movie translation phrase.
line number:
2387
01: 46: 27,429 -> 01: 46: 29,723
Antaa mennä! <--- They have an ad here, the original line is missing!

Ah, I see...(?) They REPLACED one genuine translated line with an ad for this website?
As in like:
Actor: "Hi, how are you?"
Subtitle: "Go to mywebsite.com!"

Hm.
This would not quite adhere to my definition of "shouldn't be too intrusive". :shock:

YES, very naughty doing.

I hope it's only mistake.
